NAME:
A. SANTIAGO – SAN JOSE FRIENDS CHURCH (SSFC) is located Central Luzon, Region 3, Municipality of Gerona, Tarlac and consists of 44 barangay. Santiago – San Jose Friends Church (SSFC) is a community of more than 40 households originally from Barangay San Jose, Gerona, Tarlac was displaced by the destruction of river dike and where only livelihood is subsisting farming with meager income.
B. PASTOR
Pastor Magtangol P. Alegado, was born on May 20, 1965 at the age of 23 he met the Lord gave up his life and open the door of his heart to God. Pastor Magtangol P. Alegado entered Bible School at the age of 24 and it has satisfactorily completed the required subjects, passed the examination and earned the necessary credits prescribed for a three (3) year Ministerial Theology course and hereby awarded a Diploma of the Full Gospel Native Missionary Inc. Bible School on the 14th day of April 1991 at Camiling, Tarlac.
C. The historic SSFC
During 2010 Pastor Magtangol P. Alegado was inspired and saw a vision of salvation at Barangay Santiago, Gerona Tarlac. The ministry work was started with just a few families but now the congragation was growing bigger. Our praise and worship activities was done in one of the house members. But with the growing members we construct small chapel for the thirsty souls in the area. Through this ministry, Pastor Magtangol was conducted Christian development and leadership, to enhance the community outreach, to encourage the youth in participating the worship service by spiritual training, reading, interpreting Scriptures, praying, singing and ushering. It is our prayer that they will protect the vision of those who labored and endured hardships for the church, its members and the community. Finally we give recognition to the Pastors where faithful leadership has been instrumental in the progress of our church which is Pastor Oliver Chen our international Chairman of Taiwan Friends Missionary and his Family, all Taiwan Friends Missionary Mission in the Philippines.
PROPERTY:
We have an undivided portion of one thousand (1,000) square meters from parcel of land known as lot no. 3044, GERONA CADASTRE, which is situatedin the Barangay Santiago, Gerona, Tarlac. That by these present, Mr. Luis V. Antonio, renounce and quitclaimed, waive a portion of an undivided five hundred (500) square meters, unto and in favor if the Taiwan Friends Ministries Mission in the Philippines (TFMMP), a religious organization created in accordance with law, and duly represented by Pastor Magtangol P Alegado..; that said portion shall be used by the said religious mission for the construction of its chapel for its religious worship.
